Q1. Who is Sanda Time?

A. Sanda Time is the umbrella brand of a yachting group based in Marmaris, Türkiye. Since 1994 we have been organising gulet and motor yacht charters, cabin cruises and tailor-made blue cruise itineraries along the Turkish Riviera.


Q2. Which areas do you operate in?

A. Our main cruising areas are Marmaris, Fethiye, Göcek, Bodrum, Bozburun, Gökova and Kekova. Depending on the boat and season, different embarkation and disembarkation ports may be available. Your consultant will help you choose the best route for your dates.


Q3. What types of cruises do you offer?

A. We offer:

  • Private gulet charters for families and groups,

  • Motor yacht charters for faster, luxury cruising,

  • Bareboat and skippered sailing yachts and catamarans,

  • Cabin cruises where you book a cabin instead of a whole boat,

  • Themed voyages such as yoga, wellness or special interest trips,

  • Yacht sales and brokerage for clients looking to buy or sell a boat.


Q4. How do I make a booking or request an offer?

A. You can use the contact or enquiry forms on our website, send us an e-mail, or reach out via WhatsApp. Tell us your preferred dates, number of guests, budget and route and our team will send you tailored options and a non-binding quote.


Q5. Do I need to book the whole boat, or can I book just a cabin?

A. You can do both:

  • With private charter, you book the entire boat for your group.

  • With cabin cruises, you book one or more cabins and share the boat with other guests on a fixed itinerary.

Availability of cabin cruises depends on the season and programme.


Q6. What is included in the price?

A. Inclusions may vary depending on the boat and package, but typically include:

  • Boat rental,

  • Crew,

  • Fuel for the standard itinerary,

  • Port and marina fees at the agreed ports,

  • Standard meals and soft drinks (for full-board packages).

Your offer or contract will clearly state what is included and what is not, such as alcoholic beverages, extra fuel, optional excursions or private transfers.


Q7. How do payments work?

A. After you confirm a booking, a deposit is usually required to secure the boat. The remaining balance is paid before embarkation, according to the payment schedule in your confirmation. We will provide full details, including accepted payment methods (bank transfer, card, etc.), together with your charter agreement.


Q8. What is your cancellation policy?

A. Cancellation terms may differ depending on the boat, dates and contract. The specific cancellation policy will be stated in your booking confirmation and charter agreement. Before confirming, please read those terms carefully and consider travel insurance that covers cancellations.


Q9. Are children allowed on board?

A. Yes, many of our cruises are family-friendly. However, not every boat or itinerary is suitable for very young children. Please inform us about the ages of children in your group so we can recommend the most suitable options and safety arrangements.


Q10. Can I bring pets?

A. Some boats may accept small pets, while others do not allow animals on board due to hygiene, allergy or safety reasons. If you plan to travel with a pet, please let us know in advance and we will check the options.


Q11. Do I need sailing experience?

A. For gulet and motor yacht charters, you do not need any sailing experience – a professional crew (captain and staff) is included. For bareboat charters, you may need the appropriate licenses and experience, depending on the boat and local regulations.


Q12. Is travel insurance required?

A. We strongly recommend that all guests obtain adequate travel insurance including medical cover, personal liability and trip cancellation/interruption. Our services do not replace travel insurance; you should arrange it independently in your country of residence.


Q13. Can you accommodate special diets or allergies?

A. Yes, in most cases we can accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free or other dietary requests, as well as food allergies. Please inform us before your trip, ideally at the time of booking, so the crew can plan menus and provisioning accordingly.
